Caballeria de Luna

2011 Vino de la Tierra Castilla, Spain

Clear pale lemon-green in color, this Spanish blend consists of Moscato, Viura and Verdejo. It opens with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, lime in particular, with hints of floral blossoms. Fruity with a pleasant acidity, its semi sweet nature and medium body make it a delightful combination with Spanish tapas made with white fish or dessert.

2011 Syrah, Central Coast, California

Deeply colored, purple-to-garnet in color. Pepper, graphite and tobacco over just-starting to emerge black fruit nose. Vibrant raspberry and plum fruit dominate in the mouth but do not bury the other elements in this well-structured wine.

Red, New York

Translucent, dark watermelon red in color, this release opens with floral, sweet-ish stone fruit over a raspberry-ish nose. A well-integrated palate of sweet fruity red berries and a nutty quality are repeated in the mouth. Gentle effervescence makes for an overall pleasing dessert wine experience.

2012 Torrontes, Argentina

Strikingly aromatic! Bright green-gold in color, this wine shows vibrant floral aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle with dry, crisp citrus notes on the palate. A nice alternative to unoaked Chardonnay. Great balance. Serve chilled.

2012 Malbec, La Rioja, Argentina

A dark red color and aromas of red fruits let you know you have a muscular Malbec on your hands. Hints of violets and mint come through on the nose and build when flavors of ripened plum and cherry flood the mouth. Well-balanced with moderate tannins leading to a long finish.

2011 Pinot Grigio, California

Coppery straw in color, this New World white delivers Old World character - all the brightness and structure you associate with Northeast Italy, all the accessible fresh fruit flavors you’d expect from California. It begins with a melon nose over minerals and traces of nuts, figs and dates. Moving to delicious ripe peach and melon flavors in the mouth, you’ll find plenty of vibrant acidity, heft and extraction in this lean release.

2011 Chardonnay, California

Carefully chosen “green” vineyard practices and little intervention in the winery have resulted in an incredibly vibrant, eco-friendly Chardonnay for sipping or enjoying with food. Brilliant pale lemon yellow shines in the glass letting you know you have a fresh 100% Chard that’s ready to go. Pineapple, ripe pear and a hint of coconut are the first elements to greet the nose. Fresh pear, green apple, candied pineapple, coconut flavors follow. A creamy mouthfeel with bright acidity. Delightful.

Moscato d'Asti

Straw yellow in color, this fizzy release tempts with tiny bubbles and enticing aromatics of mandarin orange and nectarine typical of the Moscato varietal. These fragrances are augmented by a hint of peach, lychee and tropical fruits and repeated in the mouth. A sprightly effervescence and powerful fruity flavors of melon and apricot make this wine a customer favorite for dessert. Serve chilled.
