To be totally fair, on my first encounter with this wine, I'd formed an unduly harsh opinion of it, but that was after devouring a bottle of The rather excellent Smirk, and interlaced with a not inconsiderable dashing of Pebbles.

A second meeting, whilst confirming that this would not be my personal first choice for a white, reveals that this wine is, nonetheless, a more than capable, and justifiably wholly self-confident player, unlikely to be phased by my rash, impetuous judgements, and one I suspect I could yet become friends with.

Typically I drink red exclusively. But I did order a bottle of the HOOT because if it was delicious even to me, I will be very proud to serve it to my dinner guest who like white wine; and I will enjoy a glass myself!

I'm not a big White wine drinker but this was very good! It went very well with goat cheese and spicy foods, which I love both!
