Screaming Goat, 2013 Alexander Valley, Gewürztraminer

CAL949_xxlarge_Screaming_Goat
Taste

Dominantly floral nose with peach, nectarine, apricot, nuts and banana. Nice weight and mouthfeel, good acidity but not over-the-top. A pitch-perfect balance of rich mouthfeel and bright acidity; the lingering minerality keeps things interesting. Frisky and flavorful, shows some rose petal and dried herb flavors, fairly crisp in the finish.

Varietal

100% Gewürztraminer

Region

Alexander Valley, California

The buzz about this wine

I use to hate white wine, and then my roommate had a party and I fell in love with this. I wish I could buy by the bottle without a party, that would be lovely.
