Calamity Sue, 2013 RIesling, Paso Robles, California

Perfumy aromatics of white flowers, pear, apricot, and honey on the nose. The mineral sensation on the mid-palate and bright acidity add purity to the whole package. Slightly sweet with some residual sugar, lower in alcohol.

100% Paso Robles Riesling
Region
Paso Robles, CA
Winemaking
No oak, only stainless steel fermentation.

Clean and crisp. Not too dry. I really liked this Riesling.

Reasling's was one of the first wines I tried and I really enjoyed the sweetness. Since I have broaden my pallet I have developed more of eclectic taste. That being said Calamity Sue is crisp and easy to taste it's not to sweet but enjoyable. I recommend this wine to those who are looking for a dessert wine this is more refined. I would defiantly buy this again.

This wine was delicious! Great paired with spicy food (like Jalapeno poppers). Such a mild, fruity (melon), wine that all my guest enjoyed.
