Taffeta Sweet Red

Fun & fizzy

Brilliant, barely translucent garnet; light-to-medium body. Taffeta offers a muted nose of white flowers & slightly earthy, herbal red berries. Strawberry and blackberry flavors are supported by good, fresh acidity. Nice extraction of childhood fruit punch flavors—cherry, berries and a little plum.

Winemaking

Our Hammondsport, NY facility is world famous for bubbly, which is where we completed the winemaking process and also the first American facility in history who's sparkling wines earned awards in international competitions. We raised our semi-dry Italian base blend to the desired sweetness with our California mixed red wine component, all the while initiating the wines's spritz via a process learned in both Prosecco & the Napa Valley.

My 2nd Disappointment

I purchased this bottle of wine back in October 2019, along with 5 other wines. It was stored in our wine cabinet about 6 months when we finally decided to drink it. As with the Luxx that was in the same order(which also turned out to be spoiled), we chilled this wine overnight for the following day and it was completely flat when we opened it. It tasted like watered down juice mixed with vinegar. This was the 2nd wine I had tried prior to purchasing that was delicious, and the 2nd wine in my order of 6 that was spoiled and a complete disappointment.

Hi, Renee. We're so sorry to hear that. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and let's see if we can send a new bottle for you of the bottle of your choice. We do not typically see issues like this, but there could have been an issue such as temperature during shipping in your case. Please reach as we'd like the opportunity to deliver a better experience. Thank you.

Ok but Not my favorite

It is a nice cross between the Fisatta red and Fisatta blonde

Yuk!

This wine is absolutely horrible. Taste like spoiled wine/flat (like flat soda). Wish I would have not wasted my money on this one.
