This wine paired very well with lasagna. Typically I don’t care for red wine. This one, however, is one I could enjoy with or without food.

This Sangiovese release is perfect and just in time for summer! I'm a bold red drinker, but sometimes in the summer something a little lighter is desired. The new Santoreggia Sangiovese may seem a bit lighter and will even appeal to Pinot Noir drinkers, but it doesn't lack in the flavors of a big bold red. We are loving this and this will be our Friday night pizza wine this summer. So good, give it a try!
