Polpo Blu Pecorino

2019 – Medium bodied white wine

Pale yellow straw; medium body. Floral, complex nose of white flowers, like acacia and jasmine, with an anise hint over minerally citrus. Rich while fresh and balanced on the palate—soft citrus fruit laced with herbs and minerality. An astounding value for a complex, young, and affordable bottle with more character than found in other "fresh" whites.

Polpo blue

I absolutely love this wine. I enjoy it with seafood, and soups, and just cheese and crackers.

Favorite Italian Relative

I know we are never supposed to say we have a favorite relative, but if I could... this one would be mine! It is the perfect white wine to have on hand for seafood dishes, simple salads, roasted veggies, or a bag of microwave popcorn. It is a lovely alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc & the gorgeous label makes it fun to have on hand for gifting!

Flavorful and crisp, easy sipper!

I had never had a wine made from the Pecorino grape until I tried this one and I'm so glad I did! It is very flavorful, crispy, not too dry and is delicious with sushi and light appetizers. Anyone who likes Viognier or Sauvignon Blanc will like Polpo Blu!

So delicious

It wasn’t too sweet and not too dry. It was absolutely smooth and the best white wine I’ve had.

Good if you like the taste of rubbing alcohol

Has a weird smell. Even chilled did not taste good. Tastes of rubbing alcohol.
