Lazy Lab Cabernet Sauvignon

2018 – Medium to full bodied red

Inky, slightly murky garnet-to-brick; medium-to-full body. Tightly-wrapped, herbaceous, woody, slightly toasty black currant/cassis varietal fruit nose. Good on all fronts: weight, feel, balance, structure, extraction—easy-to-like floral and juicy precise varietal fruit framed by vanilla oak—lengthy flavors and finish..

Made with organic grapes—three varietals picked in multiple lots from two different organic vineyards. Final transfer barreled down to new French & American oak, then to 1-3 year previous use oak, then to neutral oak then back to tank until late June 2020. Little oak as possible, so the vibrant fruit flavors of the wine are predominant.

Why We Love It

Made With Organic Grapes

Washington State is one of the country’s best spots to grow Cabernet Sauvignon vines. This wine marries New World juicy, jammy fruit flavors with a touch of herbal European earthiness. It’s friendly to sip, but uniquely flavorful.

Happiness in my mouth

This is a light feel cab where I taste fruit, especially Cherry. It is delicious right away, before aeration. My non-dry red customers actually like this Lazy Lab Cab! So if you want to buy a dry red for the first time, I recommend this one!

Mmmm...good

This is one of the smoothest cabs I have ever drank! I am mostly a white wine or champagne drinker but this cab is one I will drink when eating steak and dark chocolate!

Game changer

I have never been a huge Cabernet fan. BUT, Lazy Lab has completely changed my mind. This is one of the smoothest red wines I have had. The fruit flavors really appear in this wine. I would highly recommend for any wine lover!

Red wine for non red wine lovers

I am not a huge red wine fan but this red is my absolute favorite. A very fruit forward cab that I think a sweet and white wine lover would enjoy. All around great red!!
