85.38% Paso Robles Petite Sirah grapes were machine-picked on October 16 and October 23, 2018. Both lots sorted, de-stemmed and crushed, followed by cold soaking, alcoholic fermentation, extended maceration then malolactic fermentation. Pressing before starting aging in oenotanks by early January 2019. A portion of each lot remained in stainless steel to preserve the varietal fruit's freshness. Final blend was assembled just prior to bottling.

By Far The Best
5 String is by far my most favorite wine! I can't pick out one thing that stands out as it is good all around. It is big and bold and rich. I have not met a 5 String that I haven't loved. Every vintage! It is perfect with a nice filet mignon or just in a glass. Just thinking about this wine right now makes me want to go open a bottle.

5 Strings Worth Strumming!!
I first had a Petite Sirah a few years ago and loved it. I have only even had one and it was so yummy. When I found 5 Strings I became very excited to try it. It did not disappoint. It is a smooth, delicious wine with great body and texture. The flavor lingers just long enough to make you want more. It is well worth a few extra bucks to get to enjoy this bottle!
