How lucky am I that I get to share my love of wine with friends (old and new) and get paid to do it?! When I started my wine guide life, I didn't know what to expect (and figured, "What have I got to lose? I'll drink the wine and be done!"). That was 16.5 years ago and I can't imagine doing anything else! I love the flexibility of building my own business with no boss, no limits, and no quotas. It was especially great being able to spend time with my parents in the last years of their lives without worrying about asking for time off.
