When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

Being a Wine Guide has been fun even with the challenges this past year.. It has given me a chance to stop out of my comfort zone by meeting new people and trying different kinds of wine. Everyone has been so helpful in answering any questions I have had especially my wine mama! I have learned so much I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Traveling Vineyard started as a way for me to earn some side cash and fund my wine habit as a stay at home mom. I never anticipated that I would love this experience on such a personal level. It’s just a part time gig, but the friendship and fun that has come along with the financial gain is something that I do not take for granted.

Being a Traveling Vineyard wine guide for the past 2 years has been life changing. No joke. I have always had a love of wine, but now I have so much for understanding and feel a different kind of love for it. If you are looking to do something involving wine and just want to sip on wine and do wine research, then this is what you need.

It's my "Wineaversary"! I never would have imagined 1 year ago when I decided to sign up as a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard that my life would change the way it has. Initially I signed up to get out of the house a couple times a month to share my love of wine with others and meet new people in the area. Well, then the world shut down and crushed my hopes for a moment... I decided I could still do this even during a pandemic. I mean quite frankly if you are going to be locked in, you may as well have some wine delivered to make the day a little better! ?? Through this last year, I have met more amazing people than I would have ever dreamed of! They are not only in my local area, but all over the USA, other wine guides, other wine lovers and some amazing new friendships! Thank you all that have supported me! Cheers to another successful year! ??????

February, I celebrated my 6 years Anniversary with Traveling Vineyard! In the beginning, I was searching for something for myself, something flexible, maybe some extra cash. My youngest was leaving the nest, I had raised my children. Now what?
It wasn't easy, I had to leave my comfort zone, I had to put myself out there. Taking that leap, was the best gift, I've ever given to myself. It's not just a side hustle. Traveling Vineyard created a culture of like-minded people, that is team-oriented and supportive. I have experienced personal growth and financial reward. Traveling Vineyard has an incredible CEO, Rick Libby, and HQ and Cheerleaders are the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The leadership teams consist of fellow wine guides, that have walked the walk and are now talking the talk while still running their personal business. Our National Conventions are more life family reunions!
The best part has been the friends I have made through my business, we still do the wine tasting and have a blast but we also have fun outside my business. I'm Kathy again, not just wife and mom. It was the best leap into a business I've ever made. Thanks to my Traveling Vineyard family.

This past year of my #wineguidelife has exceeded any expectations I had for what I thought would just be a hobby. I have met so many people that I consider friends - both other wine guides and clients, turned friends. The financial reward has helped me to pay down debts, enjoy more of life with my sons, and prepare for the next phase of my life - homeownership! And lastly, this year has been a wonderful challenge in that I'm learning about wine and getting to share my knowledge with some amazing people along the way. 2020 was a year of so much growth and I owe a lot of that to TV and my wine guide family.

I want to raise my glass. ??

Five years ago, I decided to raise a glass to a new tomorrow and partnered with Traveling Vineyard. As I reflect on my own wine guide journey, I see how far I’ve come—not only within the company but on my own journey of self-discovery.

These past five years has been a journey of personal and professional development. With zero sales experience and limited knowledge in wine I decided to discover and see for myself what the wine guide life was all about.
I soon realized that I didn’t have to be an expert, the company provided me with all the tools I needed to succeed.
Over the years I have met so many wonderful people and developed friendships along the way.......and it is all because of a glass of wine!

Throughout these last five years, I have crushed goals, earned the title of Director, and earned incentive trips to Cancun and Costa Rica, Los Cabos and this year, as of now, I earned the trip for one to Le Blanc Resort, Cancun.

I am beyond blessed and grateful to be part of an amazing organization and the community it fosters!

Cheers to another year of grit and grace! ??

In the past year with Traveling Vineyard I have made new friends and have had many new experiences. I have learned so much about wine and love sharing my knowledge with others. I met my Wine Momma Susie Curry at a wine party and knew right than that I needed to do this. I’m blessed to call Traveling Vineyard my family. It has been a great year and I plan on many more. I’ve learned to like dry red wines and that in it’s self speaks volumes for this company and it’s want to share the knowledge with others. Thanks for everyone that has helped me in my path. Cheers??

It was my 7 year "Wineaversary" on February 23.
Being a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard has checked so many boxes for me:
* wine and food
*new friends
*world travel (for free)!
*money
*a flexible schedule that has allowed me to be home for my kids, work in a pandemic & keep my business going through health challenges
**** and probably most fulfilling mentoring others to have successful wine businesses as well.
Thanks Traveling Vineyard for producing amazing wine and an incredible company culture!

Wow! Another year has gone by and I find myself celebrating my sixth year with Traveling Vineyard. This past year was quite different than the past 5 due to a global pandemic helping me et back to the basics of the business and focus more on my original why of what got me started 6 years ago. My original why? I was searching not only for extra income but a creative outlet for myself. I wanted something that I could make my own, something that I could put my heart and soul into, something to build, something to really look forward to jumping out of bed each day and logging onto my device. Year 6 brought me back to that feeling. When the hustle and bustle of the world around me stopped, I connected again with my true self and everything that I wanted out of my wine guide journey. For me it wasn't all about income and recognition (don't get me wrong-those tings are abundant and great) but about inner peace and happiness. A sense of self, awareness and inner happiness and contentment. Year 6 brought more confidence in my marketing and photography skills as well. Traveling Vineyard has taught me how to sharpen my skills and how to use the entrepreneurial tools they have provided me with and live up to my full potential. Without the support of Traveling Vineyard, it may have taken me years to come to the realization that I had such talents and for that I am grateful. I look forward to year 7, lucky number 7 and all of the abundance it shall bring. Every year brings something new and exiting and every year helps me develop a new and improved version of myself. Thank you, Traveling Vineyard for being the change in my life and as I always call it, my serendipity.
