Traveling Vineyard as a career.

When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

I just hit my 7 year anniversary with Traveling Vineyard, officially making this the longest I have ever worked at the same "job!" I had never done anything like this before, but the wine drew me in, and the PEOPLE made me stay - from day one, the support and training from the company and from my upline have been outstanding! It's one of the best decisions I've ever made!!

I have been with Traveling Vineyard a year now. I have never really liked direct sales companies but when I heard about Traveling Vineyard, I fell in love with the concept.

Before I joined the company as a Wine Guide, I was a shy/quiet person and didn't have any friends. I also didn't know anything about wine and didn't really drink it either. I was super nervous and excited to start my business in hopes of gaining some new friends and a social life.

I have done many wine tastings in my first year and noticed a big difference in being more comfortable talking to people and I've made so many new friends. I've learned a lot about wine  education and love to share my new knowledge with others. In my first year, I also promoted to 1 Star Leader and it feels great! I can't wait to see what the next few years has in store for me and have set many big goals!

Five years ago today I jumped into this business with both feet. It was totally out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it for whatever reason, so I did. I knew next to nothing about wine, but it didn't even matter. In five years I've built a team of 72, met hundreds of hosts/hostesses, and literally thousands of customers, wine guides, and friends who would not have touched my life otherwise. It's been such a blessing to me and to my family. Cheers to another year! ??????

As I reflect back on my last three years with Traveling Vineyard I remember the moment when I was ordering my Success Kit. I was questioning myself - I had no experience in direct sales, I knew very little about wines and I was second guessing if I should even order my Success Kit.
If I would of trusted my fears and doubts I would of never experienced this incredible wine journey that I am on today.
I absolutely love being a wine guide! I bring friends and family together and share amazing wines with them. Who wouldn’t love my job!!
I customize my tastings around the schedule of my family so there is always quality time with them. I make the payments on our Motorhome and I have made so many incredible friendships - all because of my wine guide life.
Thank you Traveling Vineyard for giving me this amazing opportunity! I cannot wait to see where the next leg of my wine guide journey takes me!

5 years with Traveling Vineyard. I have a Masters degree in teaching, but lost my passion for it. I wanted more time with my kids and more time for myself - I did not want to be stuck in a classroom all day. I found TV on an internet search 5 years ago, never having done direct sales before. I jumped in both feet, full on. The thing I LOVE most is that I am able to replace my teaching salary in 100% flexible work hours. I can work when my kids are at school, have time to go to the gym, go on a hike etc. Then I can be home for my kids after school. I escape to wine tastings about 6 nights a month, and work with my team around my personal life (soccer practice is a great time to catch up with team members and potential team members). I have found incredible fulfillment in training my team and seeing them reach their goals and be successful business owners. Many incentive trips, Elite leader trips, paychecks and WINE bottles later.... I am thankful every day for Traveling Vineyard. Cheers!

Traveling Vineyard has changed my life! I can't even imagine my life without Traveling Vineyard! This second year I have rally focused on the 5 F's and how they continually change to fit my needs. The flexibility to be able to help out with my granddaughters when needed. The financial reward of being able to take on the majority of our Christmas shopping this last year. The fulfillment of knowing that I am my own boss, I can work when I want to, but the fun I have had at tastings and the forever friendships that I have made are probably the most important to me! These are people I would probably never have met, and they are the greatest reward from this wine adventure! I wouldn't trade it all for the world! These friendships have not only come from host and guests, but this last year I was able to attend my first Harvest, I know I would meet a lot of other wine guides and gain a lot of knowledge, but I never expected to form such a great bond with so many people! What a great experience these last two years have been and I can't wait to see what the future has in store! Traveling Vineyard has truly changed my life!!

Sydney Brothers

Imagine waking up morning after morning dreading going to work!! Being a teacher you were shaping young minds and everyone always gave you accolades for being a special needs teacher, but deep down I was super unhappy! My heart was not in it! I couldn’t wait to go home and drink wine or have winedowns with my friends! Finally, fed up, I quit my job of 21 years as a school teacher! I thought about real estate till I realized I could not pass the test, and clearly God was telling me that it’s not the job for me! I started researching MLM wine companies which coincided with traveling vineyard opening up in the state of Indiana! I thought to myself here is “your Sign Sydney”. You love wine, this company is brand new in Indiana, and you love sales. So I signed up and never looked back!! I LOVE my job!

I began this journey afraid and desperate - desperate for change, desperate for purpose, desperate for something bright and MINE. I was a lonely and increasingly home-bound stay-at-home mom. Becoming a wine guide with Traveling Vineyard has truly changed my life, not just my outlook! Though I treasure my family, I needed the fulfillment of something completely outside the sphere of my children - something fun, something financially rewarding, something that could bring friendship back into my life. This job has been everything I hoped it would be. It's challenging, it's so much fun, it's exciting! The best part? People like what I do. It's like a daily high-five of epic proportions!

I love Traveling Vineyard! I joined a little over a year ago and it has been a blessing, I can only grow and be better as each year goes. My goal for my first year was to just keep at it knowing I would fail many times. 2019 I'm looking forward to growing a team of my own. Cheers to 2019 and all the amazing things. Thanks you TV.

Before becoming a Wine Guide, I was a school counselor for 3.5 years. I had never done direct sales before and definitely never thought I would. In September 2017, I had my first son, Theo, and knew right away I wanted to be a stay at home mom. Thus, I desperately began searching the internet for "work from home" jobs. I was on Facebook one day and some girl in one mom group I was in posted how much she loved her job because she got PAID to drink wine and give FREE in-home wine tastings! Naturally, I was super intrigued. So, I stalked her Facebook page and found out she worked for the Traveling Vineyard, something I had never heard of. I looked up their website and fell in love. I could get paid to give free wine tastings... all while drinking the wine myself? It seemed to be too good to be true! Just the thought of this opportunity really tugged at my heart and gave me butterflies. It truly felt like it was something I was meant to do. I could not stop thinking about neat it was, how I could really see myself doing it, and how I could see people LOVING IT! So, I resigned from my full-time school counselor job and became a Wine Guide! This was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life! Being a Wine Guide has provided for me and my family in so many ways. 1) I get to be a stay at home mom, which has always been my dream. 2) When I go to "work", I get to drink and talk about wine with other people. It really doesn't get any better than that! I have never had more fun at a job! 3) I make my own schedule and work whenever I want. As a stay at home mom, I am grateful for any opportunity to get dressed up and be with other adults! These wine tastings have been a true blessing for me! 4) I get paid in $$$ and earn FREE WINE every single month!!?? If you are like me, you can see how Traveling Vineyard is a no-brainer.. Our wine is amazing, our community is so inspiring and encouraging, and the job is a blast. This month marks my 1 year in the business. I just promoted to being a Team Leader and just found out I earned our ALL-INCLUSIVE beach trip for 2020. I am so grateful for Traveling Vineyard and the opportunity to have my own business doing what I love. Thank you Rick Libby and everyone at TV for making my dreams come true every single day! :)
