When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

This is hands down the best side hustle you could have. Relationships are always the most important tome and I have made some amazing friendships with other wine guides and also at my tastings. It’s so much fun, you get to try so many different wines and you couldn’t ask for a better community than the people with Traveling Vineyard!

Wow! As I began to compose this testimonial, I honestly can’t believe it’s been 5 years already. I’m going to sound cliché and say that time really does fly when you’re having fun and doing something that you’re passionate about. Five years ago I started this journey with Traveling Vineyard simply to pay off some hefty medical bills that remained from my son’s neurological issues. What started off as a side gig in conjunction with my demanding full time job turned into a very fulfilling experience, so fulfilling that within 14 months I was a full time Wine Guide. This opportunity has provided me with so much more than the initial financial rewards... it’s provided me with all of the five F’s we often rave about, flexibility, fun, fulfillment and friendship. I’ve learned so much about myself over the past five years that have helped me with personal development to become a better mother, wife and businesswoman. This opportunity is about so much more than wine and a paycheck for most of us, it’s about finding a true sense of purpose. Traveling Vineyard has changed my life and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

When I began this Wine Guide gig 3 years ago I was just trying to get out of the house and make a little money. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine how fulfilling this "job" would be. Between all of the new wine friends and family I have made, to helping me come out of my comfort zone, being able to talk in front of groups (just speaking for the first time at a Regional Meeting this last weekend) and traveling to new places on my own are just a few ways that Traveling Vineyard has helped me grow. I'm not sure where I would be if I hadn't found TV but I am so happy the opportunity came at just the right time! This is the best "job" I have ever had and I can't wait to see what this next year has in store! Cheers!

Four years ago I made the decision to join Traveling Vineyard. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I started out wanting to earn extra income. But it has become so much more.
It is flexible, I get to work as much as I want. I have made friendships, both with other wine guides and my hosts. It’s fun, I enjoy wine and sharing that passion with others. I have financial freedom to do fun things with the family.
This job has fulfilled a lot of wants and needs in my life. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.

I have been a wine guide with Traveling Vineyard for 2 years and it was the best decision! In addition to sharing amazing wine with people and getting paid for it, I have gained some amazing friends that I would have never met otherwise. I have also learned so much about myself and unlocked a side of me I didn’t know was there! As an educator I was not tapping into these entrepreneurial skills I learned I had, nor did I know I would feel so empowered by them!

I began my Wine Guide journey 2 years ago. I left my school counseling job to be a stay at home momma, but still needed to work to bring home an income. I started this job solely for financial reasons to allow me to stay home. However, it has morphed into so much more for me. I never could of imagined the sense of fulfillment this job brings me now. Being a stay at home mom, I spend a lot of my time with 2 babies, in my yoga pants at home. My wine tastings give me the opportunity to get dressed up, have some me time, and mingle with other ADULTS! It's like getting paid to go to happy hour a couple times a week. This job never feels like work because I always look forward to the days I have wine tastings. It's also hard as a mom to do things for yourself or have things to yourself. I love being a wine guide, because this business is something outside of my stay at home role to call my own.

Outside of fulfillment, I would say I never realized how much fun this job would bring me. I love wine and I love going to wine tastings. It doesn't get much better to be able to make money while doing the things I love. I also just went on my first Luxx incentive trip with the company. My husband and I hadn't been away together in over 2 years, since we started having kids. So, 5 days in Costa Rica, all expenses paid was pretty freaking fabulous for our marriage and for our overall well-being! After just 1 year in the company, I earned this trip for my husband and myself. I had zero wine experience and zero sales experience and I still landed in the top 1% of the company in just 1 year. That is yet another thing that makes this company great. Anyone can be successful. I thank God all the time for bringing Traveling Vineyard into my life. My quality of life is the best it's ever been because I am able to live out my dream of staying home with my kids all thanks to my wine business. :) The happiness and gratitude I feel is immeasurable!

I just celebrated my 3 years with Traveling Vineyard and boy has it flown by. My initial reasoning for signing up was to get 20% off of the best wine I have ever tasted but something change in me after I went to my very first Harvest in Vegas! It ignited me and opened up my eyes to this world I never imagined I wanted to do. I never knew how much I needed this in my life. The fulfillment and friendships I have gained from this are priceless. I have also learned how to set and achieve goals as a result from this company. I’m so glad I decided to join, I wouldn’t change it for the world!!!

Today marks a special day for me. It’s my Wineaversary!!! Four years ago I had quit a job, the only job that I had ever known. A job that defined me as a person. Even though it was a toxic environment for me, it was not always that way. This was a job I had trained for, went to college for, and did a fantastic job for 21 years helping and educating special needs children and families. So when I quit I was lost. I did not know what to do with my time or how to define myself anymore. Several employment options went through my brain, trying to figure out what I was going to do to make my mark on the world for a second time. That is when Traveling Vineyard became legal in Indiana! I thought to myself... I love wine and I could easily do wine tastings and sell. And that I did! I am truly thankful to this company and CEO Rick Libby for being a boss that I can reach out to any time. He makes this huge company feel like family even though it’s nationwide! I never dreamed I would make so many friends, earn so many fabulous free trips and best of all be number one in sales in the company. My mind is blown and I continue to enjoy this new ride and new found freedom working for myself ??. Here is to the next 4 years!
