When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

Being a wineguide I have met some fun and incredible people. Every party brings a new experience even when it is with the same group of people. I love it and can not even consider it a job!

F is for Four and F is for Friendship.
Today marks my four year anniversary with a company that I never knew existed and definitely didn't know I needed in my life!
Scrolling through Facebook in October of 2018, I ran across an ad for a wine company called Traveling Vineyard. What is this that I have never heard of? A company that lets you bring wine into people's homes and you can make a side hustle living out of it? You get to laugh, educate, and drink wine....AND you get paid? I knew this just had to be too good to be true. There had to be a catch. There had to be another agenda. There had to be minimums for me to sell.
I dove into every YouTube video and article I could find. I had virtual coffee dates with my future "wine mama" and all the leaders above her. I talked to friends, family, and co-workers. It took me over two months from the day I answered the ad to actually sign up and then another 6 weeks before I did an event....... it was just the way my mind worked!
The commission structure was easy to read....so I knew what to expect on that.
The trainings were easy to understand....so I knew what to expect on that.
The back office was easy to navigate....so I knew what to expect on that.
What I didn't know what to expect was the friendships that were going to come my way from being with this little direct sales company. My fellow wine guides have become family. My hosts have become my friends. My customers have become my cheerleaders. I literally had no idea that after turning 50 years old, I would be able to form the bonds that I have with the people I have in my life now because of Traveling Vineyard.

Thank you, Traveling Vineyard, for bringing the kind of people who make me feel great into my life!

Six years of being a wine guide!
Where, oh where, do I begin?
This has been an incredible journey. Traveling Vineyard was the catalyst that made me fall in love with being an entrepreneur and life has changed SO much for me over the last six years.
I found fulfillment that I didn’t know existed.
I’ve had the privilege of coaching and mentoring over one hundred other incredible wine guides. I’ve made so many lifelong friends. I found my passion ??
Find a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life. This is the one!

I cannot say enough about how much I love being a part of Traveling Vineyard. My favorite part is being able to meet people and talk about something I love (wine!!). I also had a sudden change in situation and had to leave the 8-5 office job way of working, and TV has provided some extra cash to help pay bills. But the best thing about being a wine guide with Traveling Vineyard is the flexibility. Due to some family health issues, I have had to be an on-again off-again wine guide for awhile. Not once have I been kicked out, asked to pay extra to stay active, or anything along those lines. And when I'm able I can just pick up the wine guide life again and get back to what I love doing. Traveling Vineyard is a blessing and something that truly adds joy to my life!

Today is a big anniversary for me. 5 years ago I answered a Facebook add….and asked some friends if they host a tasting… Gwen was my very first, with wine momma Courtney on stand by to answer all my questions and I started my business. I didn’t do anything miraculous: I brought some wine; people tasted it; they loved it; and they ordered it. I invested very little money to get started and have had nothing but fun and loved meeting new wine friends!
I’m making money, spending time with seriously fun people, learning about wine, and loving the way my company rewards me! I’ve been treated to a luxury vacation, met so many new friends who I love and look forward to seeing when I can, got lots of free wine and some fancy wine glasses from Tiffany and Co!
Cheers To my amazing hosts, Rewined subscribers and hundreds of wine loving friends, family and event guests, I am grateful to be your wine guide. And to my teammates and wine momma’s thanks for keeping up with my crazy, challenging me, and helping me grow personally!
Big thanks to my amazing husband who has been my biggest cheerleader, joined me on the Luxx trip, went to wine camp (which I think he’s good staying at home with Keegan after going to the togo party ?????????) and and supported me through it all!

My Traveling Vineyard business has changed and grown with me over the last 8 years. I’m so thankful to have a business opportunity that is so flexible for my family.

How lucky am I that I get to share my love of wine with friends (old and new) and get paid to do it?! When I started my wine guide life, I didn't know what to expect (and figured, "What have I got to lose? I'll drink the wine and be done!"). That was 16.5 years ago and I can't imagine doing anything else! I love the flexibility of building my own business with no boss, no limits, and no quotas. It was especially great being able to spend time with my parents in the last years of their lives without worrying about asking for time off. Now, I get to snowbird and work my business wherever the sun shines! Cheers to more grape adventures!

Oh dear where do I begin? Traveling Vineyard changed my life when I began to learn about wines, how to pair them with food from regions that they come from and why that matters! I love sharing that with others-but not everyone has that same desire to learn so I thrive when the opportunity is there and enjoy myself and my own bottle of wine whenever I can!

I am so thrilled to have the ability to call being a wine guide my job!! For 18 years I have learned, laughed, grown, and achieved goals that weren’t available to me in my other jobs. Fulfillment, true friends that become family and earning a paycheck on my own time and schedule is still a dream come true.
