    Two Year Wineaversary - August 1, 2018

For this year’s testimonial, I have asked my family to tell me how being a part of Traveling Vineyard has changed our lives.

Ed (hubby): The culture of wine, its history, science, poetry and joy, have become part of our family’s story. We can discuss the synergy of this food and that wine. We can discuss these legs and that finish. While it used to be only I who embraced the grape in our home, now we can explore a unique and timeless world together.

Also, and this is most striking, I have seen the growth and self-empowerment of my wine guide wife. I have seen a drive and a confidence rise in her that is unparalleled by her other ventures. She handles logistics and communications, finance and a mastery of her subject matter that is rather astounding. She has grown by leaps and bound as she immersed herself in the world of Traveling Vineyard.

A healthy supply of wine, cool people, and a free trip to Cancun weren’t bad either! And to think, she didn’t even like wine before this.

Piper (6 year old): We have money to do stuff and you spend more time with me. (Explain) We play games and we have fun doing things. You drive me places and we can do things during the day. We spend quality time together. (Why can I?) You are home a lot more and not at your other job.

Me: I have a hard time expressing my feelings in words, especially when I feel overwhelmed with emotions. I joined TV at a very low point in my life. My job had been down-sized after I gave my heart and soul to it for 16 years. After months of searching and coming up empty, I decided to join TV after one of my former students posted about it. I didn’t know anything about wine and didn’t like it, but I knew many others who did. I needed something flexible and I needed a paycheck. I was only going to be a wine guide until I found my dream job. Within a few months, I realized that I had already found that dream job. I was an introvert who was actually interacting and getting joy from being with people. I kept learning more and more which led to successes and so much praise from the company. I became more confident which set a fire in me to reach even higher goals. I get to do so many things now with my daughter that I wasn’t able to do when I was a teacher/administrator. I have reconnected with people in my life and became friends with so many more. We are on our way to Harvest right now and I cannot wait to hug so many people on Thursday. Other than all that sappy stuff, it sure makes me smile to have all the fabulous wine, two LUXX getaways, Harvest, a new bike for my daughter, and cruises with my family that the wine guide life has given me.

Oh where do I begin....I absolutely love being a wine guide! I have learned so much about wine, and I have met so many great people. It is so much fun doing tasting events! I enjoy having the opportunity to share what Ive learned and my passion for the this business! Kudos to my wine Mama, Kiersten Ray-Kuhn, she is so wonderful and patient with me. My hope and dream is to build a team and keep my business growing. I am so inspired by other wine guides. With the 5 F's in mind, I would have to say Fulfillment is my number 1!! Sure I ve earned some "mad" money, but I love the friendships and flexibility as well.
Cheers! Here's to many more glasses of wine to share!

I joined #WineGuideLife to as a way to meet new friends and reacquaint with some of those I've lost touch with. Over the past year, Traveling Vineyard has provided me with SO much more than just amazing friendships. I am surrounded by an amazing team who is encouraging, helpful, and fun!!! The wines are so delicious and the training resources available are top notch! Financially, I've been able to pay down bills and afford trips and nights out that I wouldn't have been able to have done before.... all because of WINE! This is by far the most fun side gig ever, I still can't believe a "job" can be this fun and rewarding! Thank-you so much Traveling Vineyard!

Being a wine guide has completely opened up a door I never thought was there. I have met some amazing people, sipped on incredible wine and created friendships all the while being able to be home with my children. Traveling Vineyard is something I can call my own and have the flexibility to know I am contributing in another way for my family. This being my first year I can positively say I am extremely happy with my decision and will strive to make the next year even better. Thank you Traveling Vineyard!

I joined the #wineguidelife to earn extra money to help my husband provide for our family. We have twins and two dogs so life gets expensive! It turned out to be so much more! I've met people who support me both with wine life and mom life. Truly friends for life. I've earned more than I expected to financially. The thrive coins are unreal and a huge blessing! I was an athlete in my youth so I have a competitive nature and this is so much fun helping me feed that again. Every month I'm motivated to beat my previous months sales. Best part, whether I "win or lose" that month I always earn! It's a great company to work with and I look forward to a long future ahead of me with Traveling Vineyard!

I have loved being a Traveling Vineyard Wine Guide. I love the wine and the corporate staff is amazing. The aspect I like most about it is the flexibility. Over the last 9 months, some personal things have come up that needed my attention. I am so thankful that when I could focus on my family, and that TV allows me to do that. I cannot wait until I can jump back into the wine guide life more full-time!

I love that Traveling Vineyard doesn't have monthly minimums or inventory to stock. I don't know if it will ever blossom enough for me to quit my day job, but it is fun and a relaxing way to meet people. I have learned SO MUCH about wine in the past year and I very much enjoy sharing the knowledge I've learned with my hostesses and their guests! Thank you Rick and all the fabulous folks at Headquarters!!

I LOVE being a wine guide. It was my 2 year anniversary this month and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. It has made it possible for me to continue my education and meet new and fun people. I plan on staying with the company for a long time to come!
