When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

The feature of Traveling Vineyard I find most rewarding is the one time investment and lack of future additional expenses if you work your business. The fact that we do not inventory is huge. That we can EARN all our business essentials, including business card, is monumental. So many folks out there have to make a big sacrifice to make the initial investment, but knowing that you may never have to spend money that you have not earned and received first is a game changer, and quite a blessing. It makes Traveling Vineyard almost risk free, when you consider the 10 bottles of wine you get with your starter kit! This feature is one that I truly emphasize when talking with my guests and in casual conversations with people. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to run a "debt free" business!

This has been the best one of the best years for me. The amount of support we get from the cheerleaders, our wine mommas and grandmas and the whole team is amazing. I have learned so much and been having a blast! This doesn't even feel like work that's for sure!!

I just hit my one-year WINE-averseray with The Traveling Vineyard, and I could not be happier with my choice. I initially decided to become a wine guide for extra income and flexibility. Happily, I continue to be a wine guide for both of those reasons, but the new friendships I have made have proven to be an added bonus. I love that it allows me the flexibility to work my business when it makes sense for me and to earn extra income to help pay off expenses for my upcoming wedding. I have met so many INCREDIBLE people through this company (other wine guides, hosts, potential hosts and leads, and more), and I have thoroughly enjoyed making so many new friends. It certainly helps as well that our wine is AMAZING. PLUS, there are NO SALES QUOTAS! That's pretty much unheard of in direct sales. I can't wait to see what the next year holds for me and my Traveling Vineyard business!

My life as a wine guide has been life changing. I have grown relationships with my hosts, my palate has changed drastically, and more importantly I have gotten over a fear of stage freight. To say that this past year hasn't been an adventure would be a lie. It's had it's ups and downs, and although I'm still working out the kinks to my business I couldn't have been happier to make an investment into my future. Thanks TV for an amazing wineiversary and I look forward to so many more years!

When I first joined the company, my why was 100% because i needed the money. I really wanted to have extra money to travel. Four months into this business i lost my full time job. This was something that really hit me hard as i had never been out of work before. So i decided to dive head first into this "wine gig" and hope it could get me through unemployment. Some where in between building a team, looking for a new job and this Texas heat my "why" changed. Getting a chance to meet new or potential team members gave me a chance to learn what their "why" was for joining Traveling Vineyard. During this time i even had a chance to grow closer to my wine mama, Lindsey Kuehn. While earning extra income for myself was great, my team members and Lindsey motivated me more than anything. Its ironic to hear that people want flexibility, something fun to do, to make new friends, etc. Which is everything that this company is about. So i am more than happy to say that my "why" has changed. I can now say its "fulfillment". The satisfaction of watching everyone on my team achieve their goals is something you cannot put a dollar amount on. To Rick, everyone at headquarters, my amazing leader Lindsey, and everyone in between - its been an amazing year and looking forward to many more!

I'm celebrating one year with TV! I started with a bang and fizzled...for many reasons. I'm excited to have started booking tastings again and look forward to a successful year supplementing my "adventure fund." :-)

I joined TTV primeraly for the flexibility. I tell people I'm a full time mom. But a part time wine guide. I can work as much or as little as I like and still bring in some extra money. This has been the easiest job because who doesn't love wine !?!

Wine guide testimonial on 1st year anniversary
Wine tasting has been a hobby of mine since the early 80’s.
Having family near Napa made wine tasting a must on my visits to California. Remember being able to bring a few bottles home as carry on baggage? When I became a travel agent, I expanded my wine tasting experiences on an international level. Wineries are some of the most beautiful places in the world and I am on a quest to visit as many as I can.
When I heard about Traveling Vineyard, I thought what a perfect fit for me. I can have my wine and get paid too. Sign me up! I believe it’s important to know I am no rock star salesperson. I am retired and do 1 maybe 2 tastings a month. But whenever I need anything, WHQ treats me like I am their top priority. My tribe welcomed me so warmly, I began to understand the fellowship within this amazing company. Never have I been pushed to meet preset goals. Always receiving encouragement from everyone I contact at Traveling Vineyard.
The thing about wine is the more you know, the more there is to know. What a fun topic to educate yourself on. TV’s online training is exceptional and they are constantly updating. It is obvious to me that every effort is made to assure your success. All paperwork, social media, rewards, accounting are so well thought out. With such a small initial investment, how can anyone go wrong?
Colorado was having their regional within the 1st month of when I joined. I was a bit intimidated as I didn’t know anybody. I hadn’t even been to a tasting, let alone conducted one. But I decided it was important to know what this was all about. I am so very glad I did. Not only did I get to meet the chief grape stomper himself, but I left feeling I had made some very cool new friends. Their enthusiasm made me trust that I had made the right decision. I am excited to attend this year’s regional in April.
Guess you could say I am a cheerleader. I’ve made lots of new friends, some spending money and had lots of fun to boot. I enjoy seeing all the success stories on facebook and appreciate the positive journey I have been on this year.
Cheers,

Traveling Vineyard has allowed me to finally move out of my parent's house! Having this extra income supplements my income from my full time job and allows me to make extra payments on my student loan debt, enjoy a night out with friends, or plan a vacation! None of which would be possible on just my full time job salaray. I have made so many friends over the past year and now I have an amazing group of strong and supportive men and women that are always there to talk no matter what I need to talk about! They're not just there for the #wineguidelife, they're there for everyday life and it's amazing to have that kind of support. I have learned so much about wine, growing a business, and networking over the past year that helps me with my full time job. Also, my public speaking skills have gotten a lot better and I'm not quite as nervous anymore! When I signed up, I didn't realize I was making such a positive change in my life - I was just trying to make some extra money!
