When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

When I joined Traveling Vineyard 2 years ago, it was to learn more about wine and have some fun outside of my 40 hour work week. I had no idea that I would be able to replace enough of that income to quit my j.o.b. I now have the flexibility to enjoy more time with my grandkids, my retired husband and my hobbies. The friendships that I have made through my tastings and with other Wine Guides are priceless! Wine truly brings people together and I am having the time of my life!

I just celebrated my 2 year wineaversary and I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to be part of the #wineguidelife. This company is totally amazing. The flexibility, the friendship and the fun keep me going each month. The financial reward and fulfillment is the icing on the cake. It's so exciting to meet new people, talk about wine and see them experience the "wow" food parings for the first time. Before Traveling Vineyard, I had no idea how much food can affect the taste of the wine. I am thankful for being introduced to Traveling Vineyard. The knowledge I have gained will last me a lifetime.

I started with TV a year ago! I have loved every minute! I love all the other wine guides and wine drinkers I have met and have became friends with! I love all the rewards I receive just for having fun and drinking wine. I have learned so much from this company and still learn more every day. Everyone is so helpful! Not to mention the great wine!! I was only a sweet drinker when I started, now I enjoy it all! I can go on and on about how much of a blast I have with this “part time job”, (if you want to call it that), it’s more of a “fun time job”!! Can’t wait to keep growing MY business with TV.

It’s strange to think that just over a year ago I had never heard of Traveling Vineyard because it has become such an important part of my life and I really can’t imagine life without it now. I joined the company because I loved wine and was thrilled to discover that it was possible to get paid to drink it. I thought I would have some fun and make a little extra cash, which I did. But Traveling Vineyard has given me so much more than I expected. In the last year I have made new best friends, reconnected with old ones, helped people discover wines they love, and grown in ways I never imagined. I am so grateful for this gift and look forward to many more years of sharing wine with the world!

When I decided to become a Wine Guide my family was thought “what is she thinking, she’s so busy!” For me this was something I wanted to do to make sure I allowed myself a social life as well as bring in some extra money for fun things. Traveling Vineyards is constantly surprising me with their compassion for not only their guides but as well as their buyers. I love everything they stand for. This community is exactly what I wanted and needed. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for me!

I can’t believe it has been a YEAR as a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard!!! Who knew that in hosting a tasting, that I would be introduced to a new, fun, and fulfilling “job”!? Sharing my love of wine AND food has been a blessing, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I can’t wait to see where this Wine Guide Life takes me next, and how many more I can share this gift of wine and laughter with!!

Joining Traveling Vineyard 4 years ago was the best decision I've ever made! At the time, I was looking for something flexible, fun and that paid more money than I was currently making at my part-time seasonal job. It seemed like a tall order! I came across an ad on Facebook that said, "Get paid to share wine with the world!" I sent my info that night and was in contact with my upline within the hour. Without ever being to a tasting or tasting the wine, I jumped in and have never looked back! It's definitely fun, I have the flexibility that I want and I make the money I need to help to support my family. What I didn't expect were the friends that I'd make. That wasn't even on my radar! Whether it's other wine guides from all over the country or my hosts and guests, my friend circle is definitely bigger and richer for the people that I've met. I also had no idea that what I really craved was a sense of self and a sense of accomplishment in my work. I have that in spades! I've accomplished things I never thought possible. I'm in control of my schedule, my paycheck and my success. I'm truly a better version of myself. If I'd have known 4 years ago where I'd be today, the only thing I'd change is that I would have started sooner!

One year ago, when I made the decision to start this Wineguide journal, I was very nervous with several doubts about taking on a side business I new nothing about. I mean I thought to myself what are you doing? You already work a full 40+ hour a week job with a husband and household to run.
I never even heard of Travelling Vineyard (stumbled across it on the internet) or went to an in-home Wine Tasting. I thought about this routine life that surely needed some spice and I needed time to be Lorie again, not a woman wearing 10 different hats throughout the week. So, I requested info and was put in touch with a sweet lady in South Carolina, that I never even met. She sent me the Taste of the Business link. I watched and listened and pondered over the 5 F’s to see how they would fit into my life and decided it was time for a change for me.
It has been the most amazing journal for me with lots of Flexibility which allows me time to accomplish all the other things I need to accomplish in week. I learned more than I ever imagined from an awesome group of people who I now call my Wine Family. I’m making new Friendships and am having so much Fun running my own business. I use my Financial Rewards to do the things I want to do for me, outside of always paying the dreaded monthly bills. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania where most of my family and friends are, so every day, I work hard building my customer base by meeting new people and sharing my love for wine every chance I get, which completely puts a smile on my face and gives me a sense of Fulfillment. And even though I still work a fulltime job, my husband tells me all the time he is so happy I am doing something I love for me and makes me smile because all he ever wants is for me to smile and be happy in life.
We have some of the most delicious wines I have ever tasted and a marketing program that will knock your socks off. This wonderful company Traveling Vineyard has certainly contributed in a huge way in putting that smile on my face and being the change I needed for me and for that I am so very grateful to Rick Libby for following his dream, the WHQ cheerleaders, the Directors and Leaders, and all the Wineguides. You all are truly a blessing and I wish you all the success in the future.

Cheers!!

Wow, how did 4 years go by so fast??? Four years ago, my husband saw a bumper sticker about in-home wine tastings and thought I would want to host one since I love wine. NOPE! I checked it out and knew this was an opportunity I couldn't resist! I signed up to be a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard without tasting the wine or seeing an event. It was a leap of faith I am so grateful I took! It truly is #thebestjobever! Traveling Vineyard goes above and beyond to make sure wine guides are happy and have all the tools we need for success. I’ve never been a part of an organization that cares so much for it’s own and customers. I am grateful to have learned about this opportunity to share wine!! Cheers to many more years of #wineguidelife!

I became a Wine Guide two years ago. This has been one of the best decisions of my life. I joined for financial reasons, I needed some extra money to pay for our last child's secondary education. After that was done I decided to keep going and get us out of debt. Along the way I formed new friendships, started traveling to regional events, Harvest (our National Conference), Leadership Retreats (making more friends) and have just been having an absolute blast. I still want to pinch myself sometimes, I get paid to drink wine, eat food, and have fun. What more could a person ask for, how about free travel! This past year I earned the incentive trip, five days, all inclusive, at a Secrets Resort in Costa Rica. I do all of this as a side hustle. If you like drinking wine, having fun, traveling, AND making money, you have found the right place!
