When I decided to become a Wine Guide, I was a brand new mom. Traveling Vineyard was an opportunity for me to meet new people, make some extra money, and learn more about wine. Two years later, I have found that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I’ve become part of such a wonderful community and have made so many amazing friendships. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring.

I joined Traveling Vineyard 2 years ago. It took me almost 5 months to finally sign up, now I wish I hadn’t waited so long. I also found out I was pregnant right before signing up but it was still possible to work my business while being pregnant. I have made lifelong friends doing this business. I have also been able to get out of the house and meet new people, I’m a stay at home mom and need the adult time. I love being a wine guide!

I love my Traveling Vineyard community, everyone from my fellow Wine Guides & team members, to leaders throughout the company, all the way up to our Chief Grapestomper Rick Libby and the amazing cheerleaders at our World Headquarters. I joined Traveling Vineyard in 2011 hoping to make some extra cash and have fun...that little decision turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have traveled the world, met amazing friends, continue to learn more about wine and have an income that helps support our family, all because of Traveling Vineyard. I have team members that love having this as their side hustle, extra income for bills, vacations and car payments and stress relief from their 9 to 5 job - it’s such a great perk to be able to enjoy our product right along with everyone else.

I love how incredibly VERSATILE this business is! I've run wine events as a "side-hustle," and as a full-time job at different points in my life, and now, it's flexible enough to continue earning an income almost fully through online sales while I can't run in-person events! (My reason right NOW is Covid-19, but there are more normal reasons like having a baby, injury, or time constraints that make an make an online business enticing, too!)
Traveling Vineyard is an amazing company that is adaptable to the needs of the Wine Guides; they're always working to ensure that we have the tools to be successful, no matter what the changing business climate dictates!

I love my wine guide life! Not only do I get to teach others about amazing wines, but I get to meet amazing people and share great memories. Truly my main F is fulfillment!

When I heard about Traveling Vineyard, I never thought I would be growing a team by sharing wine with the world!

In the past year, I have learned the true 5 F’s, from the Friendships I’ve made to the Financial Boost I got. The fulfillment of guiding a tasting that ladies came in busy with life and left a little lighter with laughter. To the Freedom to make my schedule and loving the Fun I’m having doing it!

I am so grateful for the customers, the friends, and the leadership that this company has brought me.

Stop. Reflect. Raise your glass. ??

Four years ago, today, I decided to raise a glass to a new tomorrow and partnered with Traveling Vineyard. As I reflect on my own wine guide journey, I see how far I’ve come—not only within the company but on my own journey of self-discovery.

These past four years has been a journey of personal and professional development. With zero sales experience and limited knowledge in wine fueled my insecurities, I constantly second guessed myself about if I am even capable and why should I even bother trying to invest in myself. I was seeing my wine glass was half-empty—not half full.

I soon realized that I didn’t have to be an expert. There was more to that half-full wine glass. I just needed a positive mindset and grit to succeed. Throughout these last four years, I have crushed goals, earned the title of Team Leader, and earned incentive trips to Cancun and Costa Rica. And, Yes, I failed —more times than I can count! However, failure has been my wisest teacher. It only pushes me forward. ??
Not only did my failures teach me skills and humility—it taught me resiliency. The skills I’ve gained through Traveling Vineyard have rooted themselves into every aspect of my personal and professional being.

This journey of personal and professional development would not be possible without the support from my friends/family and the encouragement from my wine family. Thank you Traveling Vineyard! I am beyond blessed to be part of an amazing organization and the community it fosters!

Cheers to another year of grit and grace!??

It has really been a dream come true to be a business owner doing something I love, with the flexibility to be available to my 3 daughters. I joined on a whim 6 years ago, having never heard of Traveling Vineyard - I had never been to an event and had never tasted the wine. With no sales minimums, no inventory to carry, and a very LOW start up fee (like $99), I said WINE not. If there is anything in the world you want to give a try - my advice is to go for it! Tomorrow is not promised. Some people thought I was crazy to give up my career in teaching BUT life is short – do what you LOVE – and what you love might change – that is okay! If you have the privilege to follow your dreams go for it! Traveling Vineyard has provided me and my family with a second full time income, FREE earned travel trips for me and Chad, and the flexibility to work around life. I have also found HUGE fulfillment in mentoring others to reach and succeed their goals. And to top it off I met so many amazing people on this journey – some of which have become my dearest friends. Open yourself to possibilities you never know what awaits you. Cheers Jenny

WooHoo!!! I have been blessed to be a Wine Guide now for 5 years!!! I am so grateful to the person who offered me the opportunity to become a Wine Guide! I will admit I didn't join right away. It took me a tasting or two to say yes. I love that our product is consumable that was very important to me, so that I would have reason to contact past guests and hosts in the future. Thank you for that =) I have often said that I wish I found Traveling Vineyard sooner, but I remind myself it wasn't for me before the time I joined. I love the relationships I have formed with other Wine Guides, guests and host/hostess they have moved beyond the tasting which in my opinion is great! I love that Traveling Vineyard has allowed my family and I to take trips that we wouldn't normally had been able to take in the past with much more ease financially. I'm thrilled I took the leap 5 years ago!! Now working to build my team and a stronger calendar and customer base. I cannot wait to see where my life and my families life goes with Traveling Vineyard!! Cheers xo

I joined on a whim 6 years ago, having never heard of Traveling Vineyard - I had never been to an event and had never tasted the wine. Wow! As I began to compose this testimonial, I honestly can’t believe it’s been 5 years already. I’m going to sound cliché and say that time really does fly when you’re having fun and doing something that you’re passionate about. Five years ago I started this journey with Traveling Vineyard simply to pay off some hefty medical bills that remained from my son’s neurological issues. What started off as a side gig in conjunction with my demanding full time job turned into a very fulfilling experience, so fulfilling that within 14 months I was a full time Wine Guide. This opportunity has provided me with so much more than the initial financial rewards... it’s provided me with all of the five F’s we often rave about, flexibility, fun, fulfillment and friendship. I’ve learned so much about myself over the past five years that have helped me with personal development to become a better mother, wife and businesswoman. This opportunity is about so much more than wine and a paycheck for most of us, it’s about finding a true sense of purpose. Traveling Vineyard has changed my life and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
