2011 Red Blend Lake County, California

This slightly translucent brick colored wine weaves together aromas of black rich fruits, tree bark over plum and smoke. Balanced and beautifully extracted, the spicy black pepper edges are softened by warm plum notes. Medium tannins and fruity richness give the impression of bottle age making this wine ready to pop and pour now.

Purple garnet in color with prominent black fruits on the nose, as well as some black pepper, pencil shavings, a touch of nuts, smoke and leather. A vibrant structure enhanced by a palate of spicy, smoky, earthy black fruits.

2013 Alexander Valley Gewürztraminer

The nose is dominant with aromas of white flowers and rose petal. Tropical fruits (peach and nectarine) and banana nut notes add weight and dimension. Nice rich mouthfeel, substantial but moderated with good acidity. The lingering minerality keeps things interesting. Frisky and flavorful, showing dried herb flavors and a fairly crisp finish. Stainless steel fermentation preserves the delicate aromas and freshness.

This brilliant straw hued wine has a nose of white flowers and a hint of stone fruit. The palate shows integrated notes of white flowers, pear and nectarine. Pleasing acidity and moderate sweetness adds some round, soft texture, and heightens a hint of nectarine.

2012 Vin de Pays d'Oc Pinot Noir

Sexy, smooth and sultry are the adjectives most often associated with Pinot Noir – this one in particular. Pale ruby red in color, even the sight of this wine in the glass excites the senses. Its bouquet of fresh red fruit with cherry overtones begins the experience. In the mouth, it offers an elegant and harmonious structure with fine, velvety tannins. Fresh red fruits flood the mouth with a slight coffee flavor due to ageing in oak barrels. A beautiful round and well-balanced finish.

2012 Arroyo Seco, Pinot Grigio, California

Arroyo Seco is an up and coming part of beautiful Monterey County meaning you get value for your dollar. Choose this Pinot Grigio with both Old and New World characteristics. Brilliant, very pale straw in color, the wine straddles the mid-point between these styles nicely. It offers crisp refreshment as an unoaked Old World selection, yet delivers all the fruit, weight and feel you get with a New World release. Equal parts white flowers, melon rind and minerals on the nose meld with similar flavors of tart melon in the mouth.
